About The Mayfield Inn & Suites
The Mayfield Inn originally opened in July of 1974 with a single Courtyard section that offered its guest a total of 85 rooms and just two storeys high. Three years later the Edmonton hotel added the 10 storey North Tower with an additional 150 rooms. The final expansion project took place in the early 1990s with the Suite Tower adding an additional 90+ rooms.
In 2001, the Mayfield's North tower rooms were completely renovated. This tower now features "Best in Class" accommodations with its Deluxe Rooms and Specialty Suites.
In June 2004, the Mayfield completed its multi-million dollar renovation project on its suite tower making this Edmonton hotel truly the best choice for your business, leisure and group travel.
In March of 2007, a full refurbishment of all 88 guestrooms in the Mayfield's Courtyard Wing took place. The renovations followed the modern urban design features of the suite tower, with all new quality furnishings and soft goods and the latest technological upgrades including high speed Internet and flat panel televisions
